There were fifteen local government by-elections this week
Conservatives gained four seats: one seat from Labour in Gosport, and three seats from Liberal Democrats in Dacorum, Horsham, and Somerset.
Labour held four seats: three seats in Glasgow, and one seat in Sefton and gained one seat from an independent in Dacorum.
Liberal Democrats gained one seat from the SNP in Highland, and held two seats in Rutland, and Somerset.
Reform gained two seats from Swanscombe and Greenhithe Residents Association: one seat in Dartford and one seat in Kent.
Swale Independents held one seat in Swale.
