Prevention is better than cure but the UK’s health and social care system has historically reacted to problems rather than prevented them. Co-hosted by the CCA and British Red Cross, this fringe event will provide CCA members with the opportunity to learn from other Local Authorities and third sector organisations by listening to their pitch on how they innovate to meet today’s care challenges.
Public Health and Adult Social Care portfolio holders (or similar) in control and opposition are invited to attend as well as those on Health and Wellbeing Boards, Group Leaders/Deputies and councillors who can effectively contribute to the conversation.
